He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawson Harrison and Abia Harrison; his wife Shelby Brown Harrison; his daughter Cynthia Harrison Lane; and his brothers, Talmage Harrison and Douglas Harrison.
He is survived by: his daughter Sheila Renee Turnage (Sidney) of Goldsboro; his grandchildren, Ashley N. Turnage, Scarlett R. Lane and Travis J. Lane; his great grandchildren, Samuel H. Lane and Willow Q. Lane; his siblings, Marcellus Harrison (Janice) and Diane Hill (Randy); his sister-in-law Barbara Harrison; and his close friend Barbara Ellis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Wayne's memory to Saulston Community Church, 4620 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
