William Edis Joyner Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Edis Joyner (Goldsboro, North Carolina), born in Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on November 21, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Jones and Rebecca Jones; his brothers, Joseph Joyner and Scott Jones; and his grandson Jimmie Wayne Joyner.

He is survived by: his wife Connie Capps Joyner; his children, Billy Joyner, Bobby Joyner, Michael Hamm (Kelli) and Amy Joyner Smothers; his grandchildren, Colby Joyner (Kristin), Katie Joyner, Miles Hamm and Caroline Hamm; his great grandchild Joseph Joyner; his siblings, Donna Jones Jacobs (Tommy), Vicky Polanco (Victor) and Ervin Flave Jones (Myra); his stepmother Janet Jones; his mother-in-law Dollie Capps; his siblings-in-law, Keith, Vonnie Capps, Alan, Renee Capps and Dawn Jones; and his brother Gary Manning (Mary). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other family members, neighbors and friends he loved.
