He is survived by: his mother Evelyn Gurley Ezzell; his caregiver Evelyn Gurley Ezzell; his sisters, Julie Suggs (Edd) and Kelly Sue Barton (Vernon); and his siblings' children, Robbie Morawski (Lynel), Crystal Williford (Scott), Brittney Rogers, Megan Cherry (Dexter), Heather Wilson (Austin) and Joshua Barton (Samantha). He is also survived by nine great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Seymour Funeral Home (1300 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
