It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Freeman Thurlow (Goldsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on May 3, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Amos Freeman and Alma Amerson Freeman Garrett; her husband Harry Linwood "Hap" Thurlow, Jr.; and her siblings, Eloise, Eugene, Mildred, Philip, Paul, Sydney, Billy and Bobby.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sylvia Pacer and Donna Douglas (David); her grandchildren, Jason Ham (Lindsey), Tyler Ham (Gabriella), Ashley Dunford (Sean), Philip Pacer (Katherine) and Drew Douglas (Sarah); and her great grandchildren, Harper, Lucy, Bailey, Hudson, Anna, Carson, Nola, Oliver and Lucas. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
