She was predeceased by: her husband Galileo Turner; her parents, Bettie Womble and Benjamin Womble; and her brothers, Robert Brooks and Albert Brooks.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Tannie Martin; her granddaughter Bianca Bell; her nieces, Pansy Featherstone (Reggie), Isla Swann (Tony) and Elizabeth Marsh; her nephew Andre Marsh; her aunts, Maude Alston and Willie Mae Tysor; and her sisters-in-law, Janice Bentley and Lisa Turner.
