We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2025, at the age of 84, Emma Louise Turner of Goldston, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Galileo Turner; her parents, Bettie Womble and Benjamin Womble; and her brothers, Robert Brooks and Albert Brooks.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Tannie Martin; her granddaughter Bianca Bell; her sibling's children, Pansy Featherstone (Reggie), Isla Swann (Tony), Elizabeth Marsh and Andre Marsh; her aunts, Maude Alston and Willie Mae Tysor; and her sisters-in-law, Janice Bentley and Lisa Turner.
Viewing was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Knotts Funeral Home (719 Wall St, Sanford, NC 27330). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Luke United Church of Christ (2784 St Lukes Church Rd, Goldston, NC 27252).
