He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Phillips and Doris Phillips of Varysburg, NY.; and his sister Joan Phillips Wolfe. He is survived by: his children, Charmaine Phillips Berrian of Pittsboro, NC, Keith LaMar Phillips of Durham, NC, Christiane Phillips Cheek of Goldston, NC., Andrew, Becky, David, Olivia, Emily and John; and his wife June Rose Cramer. He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
In recent years, as June faced the difficult decline of advanced Parkinson's, LaMar remained faithfully by her side.
