As we bid adieu to Barbara's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Barbara has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Riley and Lois Riley of Hillsborough. She is survived by: her children, Clifford F. Cates (Christine) of Mebane and Sissie Beaulieu (Jeff) of Wake Forest; her son-in-law Ramon Collazo; and her grandchildren, Whitney Lettieri and Gregory Riley of Chapel Hill. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gibsonville Christian Church (325 Burke St, Gibsonville, NC 27249). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
