Catherine left this world on October 4, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Michael Bonk; her parents, Michael Bulger and Catherine Foley Bulger; and her siblings, Michael Bulger and Liz Quigley.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle Catherine Murrell (Glenn) of Apex, Charlotte Bonk Johnson (Dwayne) of Burlington and Walter Carl Bonk (Kim) of Burlington; her grandchildren, David Murrell (Jenna), Andrew Murrell, Lauren Staley and Viviana Bonk; and her great grandchild Miles Murrell.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (1620 Hanford Rd, Graham, NC 27253). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ARMC Auxiliary, PO Box 309, Alamance, NC 27201 in memory of Cathy Bonk.
