He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Lea Moore Newton; and his brother Kirk Newton. He is survived by: his father Roy Newton; his aunt Janice N. Williams (Jim); and his cousins, Rene Lefler (Curtis), Tony Knight (Renae), Dean Knight (Teresa), Jeff Knight and Taylor Fowler (Jake).
