It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher Chad Murray (Graham, North Carolina), who passed away on May 20, 2026, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Christopher's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Christopher has bequeathed us. He was predeceased by: his son Colton Kyle Murray; his mother Delores Wright; and his grandparents, Jesse, Gaynelle Hawk, Mildred and Cecil Murray.
He is survived by: his father Jerry Murray; his stepmother Becky Murray; his sons, Austin Murray and Braxton Murray; his grandson Colby Murray; and his brothers, Jay Murray and Clancy Murray. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
