He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Williamson and Linda Stroud Williamson; his wife Mary Louise Ellison Williamson; and his siblings, Gay Williamson, Sara Cisco, Alpha Gene Williamson and Gerland Vester Williamson (GV).
He is survived by: his daughter April White; his granddaughter Isabelle "Issy" White; his son-in-law Robert White (Bob); his close friend Greg Arven (Sarah) of Mebane, NC.; and his sisters, Neltha Croaff of West Virginia and Neva Spaulding of West Virginia. He is also survived by many family members, friends, and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friends of Coal through the Friends of Coal Ladies Auxiliary, a nonprofit organization headquartered in Beckley, West Virginia, established to educate the public about the importance of coal in our daily lives and to support coal miners and their families.
