She was predeceased by: her husband Neal E. Nelson Jr.; her parents, Duane E. Cooper and Linnea Liljequist Cooper; and her sister Barbara Cooper Moore. She is survived by: her children, Linnéa Marrin (Tim), Neal (Karen) and Christine Foote (Steve); her grandchildren, Jason Foote, Kelsey Marrin, Trevor Marrin (Sam), Samantha Nelson and Tyler Foote; and her great grandchild Wylder Marrin.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at the McClure Funeral Services (1030 S Main St, Graham, NC 27253).
