She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel Thacker, Sr.; her mother Evelyn Oliver Smith; her granddaughter Evie Huffman; and her brother Clyde E. Smith. She is survived by: her children, Daniel Thacker, Jr. (Lynnette) and Nancy Thacker (Marty Bean); her grandchildren, Erin Ashley Huffman, Charles P. "Charlie" Ross and Katie Thacker Johnson (Kyle); her great grandchildren, Jack Huffman, Emma Huffman, Judah Huffman, Josh Huffman, Kennedy Johnson, Kloie Johnson and Chayton Ross; and her brother Thomas Everett Smith (Toni).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rich & Thompson Chapel - Graham (207 E Elm St, Graham, NC 27253). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
