She is survived by: her spouse Thomas Luther Knighten; her daughters, Diane Miller (Michael) of Maryland, Pamela Knighten Forbis (Glen) of Graham and Penny Strickland (Larry) of Graham; her granddaughters, Jennifer Forbis Peace and Melissa Strickland Bennett; her great grandchildren, Haley Wood, Tucker Peace and Gracie Bennett; her sister Doris Knighten; and her daughter Pam.
