She was predeceased by: her husband Donald "Don" Holt, Sr.; her parents, Oren Shepherd and Jessie Stewart Shepherd; and her sisters, Clancey Babb, Gerry Bass and Vonnie Fowler.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Parrish (Ron), Lee Holt and Kerry Holt (Sharon); her grandsons, Kyle Holt, Shawn Holt, Josh Parrish (Ashlyn) and Jacob Parrish; and her stepgranddaughter Casey Parrish. She is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
A funeral service was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Rich & Thompson Chapel (207 E Elm St, Graham, NC 27253).
Memorials may be made to Graham Presbyterian Church for the Community Life Center Fund (CLC Building Fund).
