He is survived by: his wife Linda Harris Kester; his sons, Chad Kester (Rhonda), John Deese (Christy) and Jay Deese (Darla); his sister Ann Donche (Shane); and his granddaughters, Morgan Deese, Meghan Horwath (Tyler), Hailey Kester and Kloe Deese.
