She was predeceased by: her parents, James Joseph Thomas and Nettie Pauline Mann Thomas; and her sister Rachel Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Burton F. "Burt" Hopkins; her sons, Alan Mullis and Donnie Mullis; her grandchildren, Amanda Leigh Mullis, Caitlyn Leanne Mullis Kimrey and Eric Jameson Mullis; and her great grandchildren, Elijah Garrett, Olivia Mullis, Lacy Kimrey and Tate Kimrey.
