He was predeceased by: his parents, James Woodrow Turlington and Letha Jordan. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Turlington; his children, James Anthony "Andy" Turlington of Haw River, NC and Renee Turlington; his siblings, Linwood Turlington of Augusta, GA and Ann Strickland of Clinton, NC.; his grandchildren, Emily Turlington, Brittany Evans (Joe) and Zachary; and his great grandchildren, Aden Loy, Maverick and Maxton Evans.
