She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Lee Jeffries and Millie Pat Jeffries; and her siblings, Ida Anita Jeffries Enoch (Monroe), Poinciana Jeffries Hall, Nancy Jean Jeffries Whitmore (Clyde), Jessie M. Jeffries Graves (Preston) and Edgar Reese Jeffries (Fleta).
She is survived by: her husband Larry W. Davis; her sons, Dwight Cobb and Eli Cobb (Chris); her grandchild Arielle Williams; her sister-in-law Jacqueline Davis Battle; and her niece Carmelita Gilliam.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Groce Memorial Funeral Home (800 S Main St, Graham, NC 27253). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to The Shriners Hospitals for Children (link provided below) and any other charity of your choice, in honor of Joann's generous spirit and her lifelong commitment to helping others.
