With heavy hearts, we announce the death of JoElla Gentry (Graham, North Carolina), who passed away on November 9, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to JoElla's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration JoElla has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She is survived by: her friend Fridays; her son Tobias Tremayne Gentry; and her grandchildren, Jovan Montre Harris and Jazzmin Ariana Gentry. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Alamance Funeral Service of Burlington (605 E Webb Ave, Burlington, NC 27217). Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Children's Chapel United Church of Christ (334 E Harden St, Graham, NC 27253). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Children's Chapel (334 E Harden St, Graham, NC 27253).
