John Howard Scott Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 21, 2026, at the age of 90, John Howard Scott of Graham, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Lee Scott and Norma Jean Blystone Scott; his wife Marjorie; and his daughter Theresa Payne. He is survived by: his sons, Steve (Carlynn), Joe (Carol) and Tim (Carolyn); and his sister Jean Rounds. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
