We announce the death of Layden M. Brazington of Graham, North Carolina, who passed away on June 24, 2026, at the age of 86. Layden will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Layden will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Layden’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Brasington and Ruth Holt Montgomery Brasington; and his sisters, Dathaline "Dash" Mullis and Miriam Winona "Wink" Chunn. He is survived by: his spouse Natonia "Toni" Brazington; his children, Michele B. Brady (John) of Minneapolis, MN, Christa Hippe of Graham and Jason Brazington (Tracey) of Burlington; and his brother Marion Brasington (Sandra) of Adairsville, GA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
