She was predeceased by: her parents, Nevie Green Lloyd and Clara Lloyd; her husband Billy Ellington; her brothers, Robert Lee, Dalton Lloyd and Everette Lloyd; and her close friend David Atwater.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Thomas (Joseph) of Pittsboro and Steve Ellington (Janna) of Graham; her grandchildren, Laura Thomas, Austin and Ryan Ellington; and her sisters, Peggy Mason of Winston-Salem and Eleanor Johnson of Graham.
