It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lionell Melton Burgan (Graham, North Carolina), who passed away on April 12, 2026, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paulette Moore (Scott) and Charles Moore. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Burgan; his children, Mitchell Lilly, Devon Whitehead (Erin), Joshua Burgan (Charnita), Caleb Burgan (Destiny), Isaiah Burgan (Aisha), Shuton Lilly and Kaela Jackson; and his siblings, Robinetta Armstrong, Carrie Carter (Peaches) and Marcus Griggs (Arielle). He is also survived by grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
