He was predeceased by: his parent Faye Ester Sawyers; and his son James William Morton. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sawyers; his children, Daniel Sawyers (Kim), Cricket Barrow (Will), Velvet Dean (Kenneth), Wade Morton (Cathy) and Janet Mabe (Steve); his grandchildren, Misty Sexton (Chuck), Renee Sexton (Tyler), Matthew Morton (Brittney), Jessica Morton, Johnathan Mabe (Sabryna), Latham Mabe, Kelsy Mabe, Nicholos Duncan (Blair), Katelin Sawyers Jimmy (Wayne) and Megan Ratcliff (Alex); his siblings, Linda Green (Walter), Glenda Sawyers, Brenda Sawyers, Junior Sawyers and Jody Sawyers; his friend Dewayne Creed (Debbie); and his close friends, David May, Bryan May and Joel Milkin. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
