He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey McCoy Butler and Shelby Riggins. He is survived by: his children, Dean Butler (Betsy), Cody Rabalais and Amanda Dawn Hayes; his siblings, Portia Avant (Larry) and Sammy Butler; and his uncle James Riggins. He is also survived by two grandsons, two granddaughters, and one great-granddaughter.
