Otis Eugene Perkins Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Otis Eugene Perkins of Graham, North Carolina, who passed away on October 17, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Otis Perkins and Minnie Pearl Hayden Perkins; his former wives, Ester Perkins and Ann Perkins; his stepson William Kenneth Sharpe; and his siblings, Carrie Williams, Annabell Myers, Nancy Wider, Barbara DeBoe, Melvin, Billy, Charles, Frank and Irvin Perkins.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Lankford Perkins; his stepdaughter Carolyn Sharpe of Burlington; and his nieces and nephews, Paul Myers, Phil Myers, George Myers, Gloria Heydlauff and Lawanna Thomas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and loving grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Burlington Animal Shelter, 425 S. Lexington Avenue.
