He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Bright Trussell; and his sisters, Robbie and Gilda. He is survived by: his children, Ruth Harris (Bill), Rhonda Mazejka, Heather Laws (Daryl), Natalie Baldwin and Randy Trussell. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
