He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Thomas Ashley and Priscilla Partin; his grandmother Phyllis Troxler; and his stepbrother Dennis "Deno" Ashley. He is survived by: his daughter Lyndsey Ashley Payne (Tyler) of Emerald Isle; his grandsons, Cohen and Fischer Payne; his half-sister Gail Augustine (Fred) of Tennessee; and his former wife Kimberly J. Ashley.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rich and Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory (207 E Elm St, Graham, NC 27253). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rich & Thompson Chapel (207 E Elm St, Graham, NC 27253).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rich and Thompson Funeral Service to assist the family with funeral expenses.
