She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Chewning and Bessie Chewning; her husband William Leroy Cook; her son James Cook; her grandson Kyler Cook; and her brother Morgan Chewning.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Tweedy (Bo Dudley), Lisa Henderson (Danny), Tony Cook (Jenn), Steve Cook (Jamie Lynn Parsons), Kenny Cook and Crystal Church (Chad Luster); and her sister Rebecca Anderson. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Kingdom Hall (202 Webster Rd, Graham, NC 27253).
