She was predeceased by: her parents, William Benjamin Dunkley and Willie Mae Conner Dunkley; and her siblings, Dorothy Brooks, Louise Vestal, Dee Downey and Norman Lee "Dick" Dunkley.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Ray Kirby (Amie), Dr. Sharon Kirby Thompson (Randy), Jeffrey Dale Kirby (Cindie) and Wendy Kirby Holt (Sean); her grandchildren, Andrew Thompson (Christa), Traci Leach (Chad), Mandilyn Fink (Michael), Lee Mann (Karla), Chelcy Kirby, Kaci Turner (Colton), Jeffrey Kirby, Jr. (Jasmine), Clayton Kirby, Jacob Holt (Ali) and Marley Kirby; her sister Joann Christopher; and her niece Mary Kirby Foster. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
