He was predeceased by: his wife Dorinda Lovette Wood; his parents, W. J. Wood and Ella Ruth "Ruthie" Ingold Wood; and his brother Jay Wood. He is survived by: his son Ivan Neal Wood (Julie); his grandchildren, Macoy, Aspen and Sadler Wood; and his brother Jeff Wood.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home (207 E Elm St, Graham, NC 27253). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Graham Memorial Park (1402 E Gilbreath St, Graham, NC 27253).
