He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Thornton and Hilda Browner. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Gail Thornton; his sons, Shawn Thornton (Angela), Shane Thornton (Katherine) and Ryan Thornton (Barbara); his grandchildren, Connor Thornton (Lexi), Preston Thornton, Meredith Thornton, Brandon Thornton and Nathan Thornton (Korie); and his great grandchildren, Penelope Thornton and Silas Thornton.
