With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Maecile Smith Ramsey of Granite Falls, North Carolina, who passed away on May 9, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Mae Wilson Smith; her husband Bill Ramsey; her son Randy Dean Ramsey; her father Oliver Newton; and her siblings, Wilson Smith, Theresa Annas and Jewell Powell.
She is survived by: her sons, Tony Ramsey (Kathy) of Granite Falls and Mike Ramsey (Patty) of Hudson; her granddaughters, Mindy Brown (Joe), Connie Sprouse (Travis), Chelsey Cloninger (Chris) and Taylor Grant (Josh); her great grandchildren, Asher and Baylor Cloninger; and her sister Pauline Day of Kannapolis.
