He was predeceased by: his father Owen Dale Starnes; and his sister Alisa London. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Benfield Starnes of Granite Falls; and his aunts, Betty Hoyle, Gloria "Cricket" Brown, Barbara Smith, Beverly Benfield and Vivian "Kay" Starnes Berry. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church (3555 Christie Rd, Hudson, NC 28638). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
