She is survived by : her husband Charles Augustus Smith, Jr.; her children, Christopher Smith (Beth) of Newton, NC and Jennifer "Jenny" Thomas; her fiancés, Jeff Stapleton of Olathe, KS and Jason Smith (Liz Pahl) of Athens, OH; her grandchildren, Jessica, Jordan, Jacob, Sofia and Vera; and her great grandchild Lydia.
