With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Witherspoon of Granite Falls, North Carolina, who passed away on April 25, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Witherspoon to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Woods and Ottie Mae Woods; and her siblings, Doug Woods, Willa-Dean Johnson, Doris Pope, Marilyn Smith and Barbara Secreast.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Witherspoon; her children, Bill Barlow (Lana) of Hudson, Marsha Edwards of Granite Falls and Mandi Parham (Jeff) of Granite Falls; her grandchildren, Neal Carter, Jenna Allen, Will Barlow, Tiffany Alley, Mallory Edwards, Anna Brooke Drury and Tanner Parham; and her brothers, Max and Travis Woods. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
