With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brenda Ann Stamey Vipperman of Granite Falls, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 15, 2025 at the age of 70. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Wilburn Stamey and Wilma Duncan Stamey; and her brothers, David Stamey Sr. and Dana Stamey. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Esther Stamey of Sawmills; her nieces and nephews, David Stamey Jr. of Lenoir, Chris Stamey of Sawmills, Eric Stamey of Granite Falls, Katie Stamey Miller of Sawmills and Dawn Stamey Russell of Cookeville, TN; and her close friend Rita Shell. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews; and one great great niece.
