He was predeceased by: his parents, Dexter David Lail and Mary Coodie Benfield Lail; and his siblings, Mary Sayles, Helen Terry, Clifford Lail and Sam Lail.
He is survived by: his siblings, Harold "Bud" Lail and Joyce Ann Lail. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
