He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lewis Willix and Vinna Mae Young; and his son Jonathan Willix. He is survived by: his daughters, Nikki Ervin (Josh) of Connelly Springs and Oliva Sullivan of Connelly Springs; and his siblings, Danny Willix (Lisa) of Connelly Springs, Larry Willix (Violet) of Connelly Springs, Richard Willix of Connelly Springs, J. L. Willix (Teressa) of Newton, Lisa Gross of Connelly Springs, Rita Ramey (Wade) of Mississippi and Liz Reagan of Newton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
