She was predeceased by: her parents, Leatrice Cox and N. C. Cox of Hickory; and her great-niece Sienna Bryce Houck of Conover. She is survived by: her son Jacob Smith; her sister Linda Kelley Hollifield of Hickory; her nieces, Michelle Younce Sharpe of Conover and Tiffany Rae Martin of Hickory; and her great-nephew Eli Houck of Conover.
