With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold Dean Kirby of Granite Falls, North Carolina, who passed away on November 13, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Victor Kirby and Margaret Lowman Kirby; and his siblings, Jerry Kirby and Shirley McGinnis. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Stafford Kirby; his daughter Marti Kirby Martin (Chris) of Granite Falls; his grandchildren, Garner Ford Lingerfelt and Walter Dean "Walt" Lingerfelt; his stepgrandchildren, Peyton Jaynes, Hayden Jaynes and Jaedyn Martin; and his siblings, Roger Kirby (Diane) of Granite Falls, Kenneth Kirby of Hildebran and Loretta Hefner of Conover.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dudley Shoals Baptist Church (1882 Dudley Shoals Rd, Granite Falls, NC 28630). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
