She is survived by: her mother Reba Jewell Fields of Granite Falls; her brother John Fields (Georgiana) of Dacula, GA; her children, Amanda Lewis of Washington, DC and William Lewis (Cari) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Mason Lewis, Lacey Lewis and Jacob Lewis; her stepdaughters, Penny Lail (Mike) of Maiden and Lori Oliver of Conover; her nephews, Stephen Fields and Travis Fields of Georgia; and her pet Dove.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Harriet's name may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
