He was predeceased by: his parents, Cloyd Fox and Mary Pennell Fox; and his siblings, Bill Fox and Peggy Burns. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Austin Fox; his sons, Jamie Fox (Michelle) and Justin Fox (Tierra); his siblings, Greg Fox (Patricia) and Denise Lackey (Wayne); his siblings-in-law, Perry Lee Austin (Linda) and Joann Austin Pennell (Larry); his grandchildren, James Austin Fox, Alexis Fox (Chase) and Jaelyn Fox Price (Josh); his stepgrandchildren, Kristen Brown Hood and Chastity Brown; and his stepgreat-grandchild Jielle Hood. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM.
