Joanne touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. She was predeceased by: her husband James B. "Jim" Yount; her son Boyce Mark Roberts; her parents, L. E. Cagle and Edith Cagle; and her brother Lynn Cagle.
She is survived by: her daughter Phyllis Roberts Price (Jerry) of Maryville, TN; and her sister-in-law Debby Annas (David). She is also survived by two granddaughters; and six great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Granite Falls (9 Lakeside Ave, Granite Falls, NC 28630).
