He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Jack McGlothlin and Jo Ella Owens McGlothlin; and his great grandchild Tyler Bowman. He is survived by: his wife Nannie Pearl Musick McGlothlin; his children, Lewis Edward McGlothlin, Jr. of Granite Falls and Barbara Gail Brown (Lonnie) of Valdese; his siblings, Claude L. McGlothlin of Virginia, Billy J. McGlothlin (Beth) of Virginia, Frances E. Sawyer (Herman) of Virginia and Edna Cathy Scott of Virginia; his grandchildren, Carissa Brown (Josh), Adam Brown (Morgan), Sarah Taylor (Steven) and Ethan Brown (Kaylee); and his great grandchildren, Abel Brown, Claira Brooks and Cylas Brown.
