She is survived by: her children, Karen I. Jones (Dalton) of Granite Falls, Patty I. Baker of Granite Falls and David W. Icard (Brandy) of Hickory; her stepdaughter Patty D. Selby (Daniel) of Washington; her grandsons, Jerry (Megan) and Robert Jones; her great grandchild Nathan; her brother Jerrell Saunders (Christy) of Dunn, NC; her sisters-in-law, Altha Newton of Icard, Janet Stacey of Connelly Springs, Penny Icard of Hickory, Diane Saunders of Hertford, Deliliah Branch of Granite Falls and Lulu Stephens of Hickory; her pet Malachi; and her close friends, Sylivia Gilbert, Lynda Alligood, Gayle Styons and Bunny Brothers.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made to the Longview Church of God children's ministry.
