She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Kirby and Faye Kirby. She is survived by: her husband James Hampton; her children, Cody Hampton, Seanna Hampton, Whitney Hampton and Jodi Greene; her brother Gene Kirby; and her grandchildren, Emma Townsend, Corbin Church, Maddox Church, Ares Hampton, Charles Greene, Dawson Greene, Randal Armer Jr. and Emerie Hampton.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Union Grove Baptist Church (2485 Connelly Springs Rd, Granite Falls, NC 28630). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM at the Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (2485 Connelly Springs Rd, Granite Falls, NC 28630).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the library fund at Union Grove Baptist Church.
