She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Allen Sharpe and Ruby Virgina Taylor Sharpe; and her husband Otis Franklin Duffey, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Daniel Cornett (Delene) of Lenoir, Katherine Cornett of Lenoir, Lavella Coffey (Andrew) of Granite Falls, Cynthia Cornett of Hudson and Jay Allen Cornett of Hudson.
