We bid farewell to Richard Herman Setzer of Granite Falls, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 20, 2025 at the age of 80. Richard Herman touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Alfred Setzer and Minnie Catherine Herman Setzer; his wife Sherry Ann Chapman Setzer; and his siblings, Carrie West, Catherine Cruse, Annie Huffman, Ruby Setzer, Jim, Grover and Tom Setzer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Thalia Dula (Jerry) of Hickory and Angela Robinson of Hickory; his grandchildren, Graham Hedrick, Evan Robinson, Wendy Cooley, Johnathan Dula and Dylan Sigmon; his great grandchildren, Lyla Cooley, Jaxon Parker and Deacon Parker; and his siblings, Jeannie Bowman, Lewis Setzer (Lala) and Robert Setzer (Gloria). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
